First licensed in 1989, John Herring combines proven experience with unparalleled enthusiasm for the real estate profession. Dedicated to his clients' best interests, John gives his best to each and every transaction with quality of service always valued over quantity. As Broker-Owner of RE/MAX All Stars in Missoula, John maintains his zeal for listing and selling real estate while training and teaching others the latest innovations in technology and real estate trends. John's involvement in the Realtor® community is extensive having been President of the Missoula Organization of Realtors® in 2013 and 2005 and President of the Montana Association in 2017. He is currently a Director with NAR. John has been awarded Realtor® of the Year by the Association in 2016, 2014, and 2006, and was Salesperson of the Year in 1998. As part of the Missoula Choice Awards, the Missoula community voted him Best Realtor® 2015-2019 and voted RE/MAX All Stars Best Real Estate Office in 2022 & 2019. John's dedication to continuing education mirrors his professional drive and keeps his skills sharp. He has earned the Graduate Realtors® Institute, Accredited Buyers Representative, Military Relocation Professional, Sellers Representative Specialist, At Home with Diversity, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, and E-Pro designations, and the Certified Residential Specialist Designation held by less than 5% of Realtors® nationwide.

John has lived in western Montana for over 40 years and knows it well. His wife of 30+ years, Angel, is a native Montanan and together they have two adult children who live in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
